We are a small Hobby Kennel located in Southeastern Wisconsin.
All of our puppies as well as adults have been born and raised in a  family
environment. They have all been raised looked after and loved by Myself  with the
help of my husband John, our daughter Johanna, and our son Steven.

We do not have a kennel facility so all of our dogs have been raised in our home
as part of the family.
We all play a very special part in the raising of all of our dogs. I guess you could
say I am the foundation and brains behind the outfit, John is the kennel help (as
he calls himself) and has turned out to be quite an able handler, and Johanna is
the nurturing soul and all the 4-leggers best friend. Our son was quite active in
showing when he was home but has gone into the Navy and is now stationed on
the USS Nimitz in San Diego Ca, but keeps in touch to find out what is happening
with his 4-legged as well as 2-legged family.

My love of Great Danes began when I was about 8 years old and we lived next
door to two of the most beautiful Dogs I had ever seen - two Harlequin Great
Danes.  It seemed that these two dogs were bigger than me and they were so gentle
that every morning on my way to school they would come out to the sidewalk and
give me a Good Morning Kiss and a tail wag.  Thus my love for this breed began!
I started competing in Field trials in 1969 with my first Irish Setter I was still
bitten by the Irish Setter bug until 1990 when along with my husband John we
decided that we wanted to stay in the Dog Fancy but go with a different breed, at
this point I had told John that as a little girl Great Danes had always been my
Dream Pony!
For my birthday in 1991, John surprised me with my very own Dream Pony our
"Krista"  Baroness Krista Rau Roo.

"Krista" taught our family how great it was be Owned and Loved by a GREAT
Great Dane.  She was so easy to train that it became a real family endeavor and by
the time she was 6  months old she had graduated Top in her class from
Obedience Training, was at a point of competing in FlyBall, and was already
working as a Therapy dog visiting Nursing Homes and Pre-Schools.  There wasn't
a person that met her that didn't instantly become her Best Friend
.
We were Hooked!

That same year I was Lucky enough to meet two Wonderful People that have been
active and successful with this breed for many many years.

Debbi Deniston and Carnell Gurrath had me mesmerized with there knowledge of
this breed and there kindness.  I am very Grateful to say that they became my
Mentors as well as my friends and part of my family and with their help
RauDane Began!

We invite you to come in and take a look at our 4-legged family!

Welcome Denise
